My wife and I will be touring Italy with stays in Rome, Positano, Umbria, Tuscany, Bologna, Dolomites and Como. Would be interested to know of any local festivals in those areas in May 07.

On May 15th, in Umbria, there is the Corso dei Ceri
"Race of the Candles", a week later than you mention being there- maybe you can switch things around a bit?
