Ireland

Does anyone know a site in which I can book my entire package, car/flight/hotel
I can't find one that lets me put in multiple cities for hotel and flight arrival & depart in different citys.
I've also tried some travel agency's that supposed to do custom packages, but they don't seem to be able to book B&B and 3 star they keep suggesting in 4 & 5 star.

I want to fly to SNN
Drive to:
Galway 1 night
Adare 1 night
Killarney 1 night
Cork 3 night
Dublin 3 nights
fly home from Dublin

I would do separate. We can help you to pick some 3 star places. You do multi-city flights. What city are you flying from? That helps figure out what airline is your best pick for lower flights. Aer Lingus flys in and out of Shannon and Dublin. Do you really want to do Galway or just see the Cliffs of Moher and the burren?

Anyway. Land SNN, 2 nights Ennis as a base for Clare and a trip to Galway city, with only 2 days you can't cover Clare and Co.Galway.

From Ennis drive round the Dingle Peninsula on the way to Killarney for 2 nights.

Roughly something like http://goo.gl/KTPduT 150 miles @ 30mph = 5 hours + Stops 10am ~ 6pm= 8 hours so 3 hours for stops. Although that map and times start in Adare so leave Ennis at 9 am.

Cork to Cobh then cross the pointwest ferry for Kinsale and back to Cork, Full but easy day trip.

Kilkenny is always a good option for an overnight then drive over Wicklow/Glendalough back to Dublin.

Weather, yes there will be weather, what sort, ask the day before.

Car hire should be booked directly with the people who are going to give you the Keys to the car.. other wise you will get to the collection desk just in time to get smacked with a wet fish.. All sorts of extras you won't be told about on price comparison agency, consolidator sites.

Do not fall for the Voucher options these limit your choice of accommodation to those who use the scheme to advertise.

What do you hope to see going to Galway for the night you arrive? up the N18 to Galway from Shannon, Coole Park for a break and stretch legs, then troll round Glaway for a few hours, get some sleep and a night out in Galway, next day down the Clare coast see the Cliffs of Moher and get to Adare.

Night in Adare catching up on your American accents and see the Chocolate box lid English village.

Night in Killarney having driven round the Dingle peninsula probably planning to do the Ring of Kerry on the way to 3 nights in Irelands second biggest city in preparation for another 3 nights in Irlands biggest city and fly home.. If you are lucky you might never meet anyone Irish who isn't doing something you are paying them for.

Harsh but true.

B&B Ireland has swamped some of the smaller and better sites coving B&B's but are a decent option, just run the accommodation by the forum before booking as 5 minutes from town could be agent speak, missing out the Helicopter factor.

If you want to do cities then fine, but I live in rural mid west Ireland so like my plan a lot better

Thank you, good information, I'm open to all suggestions.

Galway was a first night stopping point to head south the next morning for the cliffs, burren, doolin village/caves drive. Figured that would be a long day arriving in the Adare area early evening for my second night.
I then thought we would head out of Adare around noon to work our way to Tralee, Dingle drive and over to killarney for 3rd night arriving again early evening. Since I've never been to Ireland is this realistic. Do I need more or less time at the above sites?

From Killarney (Would you recommend more time in this area) I hadn't planned on the ring because of doing dingle loop the day before.
Head out of Killarney next day driving to Cork via a couple of hours at Blarney.

A couple of nights in Cork, with day trip to Cobh and Kensale, what would be a recommend time in each of these areas.
Next was heading for Dublin via stops in Cahir and in Cashel. Is an hour enough time for each of these sites?

While staying in Dublin take a day trip to Boyne Valley/trim/newgrange/hill of tara etc.
Or a day trip to Wicklow area. Which would you recommend.
I'm hoping to book in the next few weeks, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
thinking about renting a car through Avis or Hertz, any other ideas.

We are vacationing in Ireland May 28-June 1. The first four nights will be spent in Dublin. From June 1 to June 10 we have rented a car using the Auto Europe web page. After reading many AE reviews we chose HERTZ and opted for the no deductible coverage. Total cost for ten day rental = $600.00 US
