If you take the train, it is between 0:49 and 1:05. You have to change trains in Koblenz. www.bahn.de
Your are faster if you take the ferry to St. Goarshausen and board the train there. Than total time (including walking) will be 35 to 58 minutes. http://www.vrminfo.de
