Hotel Nomade or Empress Zoe in Istanbul?

Which would you recommend for a female traveling alone to Istanbul? Both are available.

Thanks.

Tanya: Did you ever find out which hotel was better? We are looking into booking into the Hotel Empress Zoe this may, as it is owned by an American. Curious to hear if anyone else has stayed there, or seen it? Thanks; any info you can give me gratefully appreciated!

Two years ago we stayed at the Empress Zoe for a week. It was ideally located, room was clean and the staff very helpful. In the evenings we went to the rooftop terrace for drinks and watched the sun set over the bay. Breakfast was delicious (tomatoes, cucumbers, bread, olives) and served outside as well. All the Sultanamet sites are easily walkable from there. And the 4 Seasons nearby is a luxurious place to stop in for a drink or a look around. I'd stay at Empress Zoe again anytime.
