hotel in Milan near Malpensa
hello all
we will be flying out of Milan and would like to book a nice hotel reasonably near Malpensa
airport that would be in an interesting area for us to explore for a day and nite? also if there is a suggested restaurant to tractoria in that area that you could suggest, that would be a plus.
we do love Italian food a lot!

We always stay at Hotel Villa Malpensa next to the airport. It has an excellent restaurant. About a half hour drive away is charming Ranco on the SE shore of Lake Maggiore. Many hotels, restaurants.

our flight out of malpensia is at 12:10am and i assume we need to be at the airport 2 hours ahead we are flying to paris.
we just thought it would be easier to stay near the airport.
we will be coming from cinque terre by train and have little idea of train schedules, but i assume we would likely get into milan late afternoon.
