Hiring a private driver in Spain--Costa Brava

Hi! My girlfriends and I are looking to travel to Costa Brava, Spain, in June 2010. We're a bit leery about renting a car. Can anyone suggest how to go about hiring a driver? We wouldn't need the driver for every day.

take the bus or train to a beautiful destination and then a taxi.

Ensure all the cars you hire, with a driver, have an SP (Servicio Público) plate on them. If not they are working illegally.
