Help from Heathrow, please!

I'm landing in Heathrow this Friday morning (assuming the volcano ash doesn't get in the way). I'm wonder if someone could suggest the best tube route to get us from Heathrow Airport to the Fulham/Parsons Green area. Much appreciated!

Piccadilly Line towards Cockfosters.
Get off at Earl's Court.
Get onto District Line at Earl's Court towards Wimbledon.
Get off at Parsons Green (3rd stop).

I am not expert, but the Transport for London website (www.tfl.gov.uk) gives the journey as Piccadily line to Earls court, then change there to the District Line (destination Wimbledon) getiing off at Parsons Green. Journey time about an hour.

A bit nervous about the volcanic ash, particularly given that UK airports are being impacted. Keeping our fingers crossed that we can get into Heathrow! Good luck in your travels, too!
