Can't help you with Greece, but if you're going to Denmark, why not just fly into Kastrup in Copenhagen? (you are aware that Schiphol is in Amsterdam, I trust). Denmark is pretty well covered by trains and busses, so trans[ortation once you get there should not be a problem. Driving is relatively easy outside Copenhagen. Inside the city I would walk or take the bus. E-mail me with specific questions if you wish. Just got back from Denmark lsat Sunday.

I can't help you with Denmark, but if you go to the Cyclades, I can. You'll fly into Athens, then catch an island hopper (propeller plane usually) to whatever island...the alternative is to take a boat, which is slower, but if you're just looking to relax, then it would be the way to go.
Athens is very busy, noisy, big cityish. We visited on the last two days of our trip, saw the Acropolis, walked the Plaka, went to the old-dug-up-stuff museum, then flew home. It's definitely not a relaxing city.

Athens is a fascinating city! Good food reasonably priced. Take the public ferries to the Cycladic Islands. Leisurely pace. Stay over when it strikes your fancy. Taros, Eos, Paros, are off the tourist route, unlike St. Irini and Mykonos, but are very pleasant. Fresh octopus, uozo and a loaf of bread are every bit the equivalent of a Danish smorgasbord.
