getting around Spain
Message: My friends and I are planning to hit Lisbon, Madrid, Seville, Granada and a day excursion to Morroco. What is the best route to get to and from these cities (plane, train, bus)? We have about 15 days to spend. Also, tips on what to see are helpful.Thanks.

There is good train (high speed service available on a few routes) & bus service between most major cities in Spain. Typically bus fares are lower than train fares. With many freeways and toll roads existing throughout Spain, traveling times between cities between can be quite short.
Renting a compact car is also a good way to see a lot of Spain especially if you have several friends to share costs & driving with.

Where are you arriving? The order in which you mentioned the cities sounds about right. I would take a plane from Lisbon to Madrid (fares can be very cheap, even cheaper than train), the AVE from Madrid to Seville, and rent a car there to go to Granada (maybe Cordoba as well) and to Algeciras to catch the ferry to Morocco.
The AVE train between Madrid and Seville was fast and on time. It took approx. 2 1/2 hours.

Between Madrid and Lisbon, I would recommend flying. I've used www.europebyair.com to get between Barcelona and Lisbon, it also has a direct flight between Madrid and Lisbon. If you book in advance, you should be able to get a $99 (plus tax) flight between the two cities. Their website info isn't always correct so I would recommend calling and reserving a flight.

I thought the day trip from Spain to Tangier Morocco was a waste of time and wished I had listened to the people who had told me that prior to my going. Maybe there's some other place in Morocco that's not a big tourist trap.
