French Language Course, Intensive
I was all set to sign up for a language course in Provence that a friend has attended in the past. It is a live-in immersion course for two weeks. Unfortunately, I took my time signing up and as of today, it is already full for this September.
My sister says there should be many other similar programs in the area, BUT I would like to get a recommendation and just not sign up for one based on their website.
Does anyone have any experience they can share? I'm all set to go this September (with friends following after my course, hoping to stay in a vacation rental) and just need a good language school. Level would be internediate and not beginner (A2 level).
Thanks for any info you can share!

If you don't have to be in Provence, I heartily recommend www.cle.fr
Excellent school in Tours with students of all ages from all over the world. Many different levels of instruction, and classes limited to 7.

For studying in Tours, I recommend the Institute de Touraine

There is an excellent school in Aix-en-Provence:

However the best school, based upon conversations I have had with a number of their very satisfied former students, for a live-in immersion program is at the Institut de Français in Villefranche-sur-Mer:

Thanks for these leads. I will look into them.
Yes, I'm hoping for something in Provence since I love the place. The program I was looking at is for small groups, intensive but also leisurely in that it includes all afternoon and evening activities, and the whole group stays together in an abbey.
If anyone knows anything similar! Do add to the list!! Thank you!

A friend of mine went to Aix-en-Provence with Cactus Language. They help with accommodation and airport transfers as well. I've been to Florence with them last year and that was a great experience! I think this might be a good option for you!
