Thanks very much Statia! I've got it really narrowed down now. The San Lorenzo Apartment I've been looking at alongside Il Carmine is actually called Dante - San Lorenzo. I discovered it via Italyby - here's the addy for anyone that wants a gander:

This apartment is on the top floor also so it might cut out some of that San Lorenzo noise out too. Anyone stayed in this particular apartment or w owners?

Vicki - the Borgo la Noce runs off Via de' Gori which in turns connects with Borga San Lorenzo yeah. It looks like it backs onto the Cappelle Medicee and the Piazza San Lorenzo which is great. It's obscenely cheap actually which has me mildly concerned but...kinda not enough to pass it over.
Should I consider that something is awry at E350 for the week in Oct or...not? The prob I'm having is that I can't find a single review and these 'San Lorenzo Apartments' are comprised of only two apartments 'Dante'and 'Beatrice' and don't appear to be owned by Gianna Galeota at all. I guess they're not related to the other San Lorenzo franchise at all so, very little info unfortunately. ANYWAY. Nearly there. Ta all
