Florence Bus Help
I did get the Florence Bus site to work (ataf.net) but can't figure out how to get from the Holiday Inn (Viale Europa 205
Florence, 50126 Italy) to the center of Florence. Can anyone help? Thanks

I managed to figure this out by using mappy.com to locate your hotel on a map and then compare its location to the actual bus route maps. I think your hotel was on Tav. 15. Of course currently Tav. 1, the center of Florence, won't open properly, I have Tav. 1 on my computer from last year.
According to that, two different bus lines operate on Viale Europa, #23 and #33.
23 would take you to the center, past Santa Croce, to Piazza S Giovanna (Duomo), then loop back toward the river and pass right behind the Uffizi.
33 would bypass the center along the ring road, passing the Protestant cemetery and eventually reach the train station.
There may be other routes a short distance from your hotel that would also work well.

My sister and I stayed at the Holiday Inn on Viale Europa last October. We always took the #23 bus - bus stop across on side street from Holiday Inn. On the return trip, be sure and take #23A - #23B doesn't stop at the Holiday Inn.
BTW, there's a delightful cafe bar about four doors down the street from the Holiday Inn where we would get our morning capucchino and pastry - costs about 2 Euro for both (10/06 price).
