Get a good guidebook of Tuscany. There's lots of great small towns that you can take a train or bus to.

Just stay in the center of Florence. You can walk to everything.

You could easily fill up 3 days in Florence itself. I wouldn't day-trip more than 1 of your 3 days. You could stop in Lucca on your way to or from Pisa by train.

You need to determine what your hotel budget is per night and how many people per room so we can help w/ hotel suggestions.

We are staying at Alloro B&B, in the center of the city. Very reasonable, and it gets good reviews on this board and tripadvisor. It's E 120 for a double room..

Hi T,

What's your hotel budget?

I'd devote 2 days to Florence, a day to Siena and San Gimignano, and skip Pisa, unless you absolutely have to see the tower.
