First class tickets valid in 2nd class?

Are passes purchased in 1st class valid in 2nd class as well? For example, if my kids travel w/ me in 1st class, then will they be able to use these 1st class passes to travel with their friends in 2nd class?

unless you have reserved the seats in first class. And even then they can sit in 2nd class if there are seats that are not reserved. Second class is usually crowded.

Hi el,

Even if 2 cl is crowded, they can offer to switch seats with someone.
