FINAL DECISION - DESPERATE FOR HELP
Okay, I've asked this before, but we are leaving on Wednesday and keep going back an forth as to where to spend our last 4 days. So if I could get opinions one last time it would be great. We'll be in Paris and have 4 days before going to London for our return flight. Do we stay in the Loire Valley or take a Ryanair flight to Shannon and see Dingle, Kerry, etc. in Ireland?

See http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...mp;tid=1347342 for more info on the two locations where Chocolat was filmed. Very different from each other and quite a distance apart.
And if I may soapbox as diplomatically as I know how - - the header of your message is rather impolite - - begging each and every visitor to "please look at my question", without letting on in any way as to what info you seek.
You might find that the French will be impolite right back at you.
Best wishes,
Rex

Hi traveldanni, I think Chocolat's location was Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, and you might be able to see it at

I'm techno-naive, so this may not work. Hope you are able to make a decision that will be perfect for you. If walks are important, then probably Ireland is the place, yes? I've never been there. I wouldn't choose the Loire w/walks in mind. Now if you want to head for Lac Leman, I know the perfect vineyard walk along the Lavaux between Lausanne and Montreux.
Silliness aside, I think Burgundy is beautiful, and that might be an idea. J.

Sorry Rex. I didn't mean to be impolite. It was 2:00 a.m., I was anxious as my family can't seem to help me decide either, and I didn't see it from the angle you mention. Don't worry, we've always been nothing but polite as we travel and have made many friends. We'll take note of what you said.
