Hi again Eks,

So when are you going to the Amalfi Coast? Can't wait to hear about it!

Hi Dayle! We will go the last week in April/first week in May. I reserved at Residenza del Duca in Amalfi and am now working on Naples hotels! As for the flights, it actually seems less problematic to fly JFK-MAD and MAD- Naples than to fly through Rome or Milan. The connections thru those last two cities are not as good and one wonders if Alitalia is a good bet right now.

Thanks for all your help!

Hi all,

I am looking for a thread that included a list of suggested restaurants and places to eat in Puglia, but can't find it now. I thought ekscrunchy created it. If anyone remembers or can find it, I'd be grateful!

Hi Ellenem, thanks for getting back to me. I did what you suggested (I read all of eskruncy's Puglia trip reports as well as several others') and I also scrolled though about 100 of escrunchy's threads (Fodors lets you go back 3 years) and didn't recognize the link or thread. I'll find it, we don't leave until early Sept, and I have time!

Using the Advanced Search feature, you can go back much more than three years, but you have to search three years at a time--just change the dates to the time period you want to search.

@mike - try this one, http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...estaurants.cfm
or this one perhaps
http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...t-comments.cfm

I was just in Puglia this past fall and did lots of research on this board. there were many threads that had restaurant suggestions. I don't recall any that was only a listing of restaurants in Puglia.
U can check out my TR .

Yestravel, those two threads have tons of great suggestions and contain a few restaurant 'lists' I think I remembered reading (when I was focused on towns to visit and hotels/masserie). Thanks so much for this and your trip report!

Per one of your reports, I ordered a (used) copy of The Collected Traveler: Southwest France. I am so glad I did! Thanks, ekscrunchy.
