Does Harrod's carry plus size clothing for women?

I would think that you will probably not find the selection you're used to (if you are from the States, since Americans tend to need more plus size clothing than Europeans) or very good prices, due to the currency conversion and the fact that Harrods iteself can be pricy. A sweater that costs 50 pounds there would actually cost 85 or 90 dollars. A more expensive sweater woudl be, well, even more expensive!

Don't take this the wrong way, but if you care about what clothes you wear, and have no longterm illness, perhaps you would like to diet - that way you have a far larger selection of clothes abailable for you to choose from.

Madison, depending on what size you are, you may find you don't need a "plus" dept. While the sizes there are actually 1-2 sizes up from ours (ie a US 10 will be a UK 12 or 14), I noticed many shops that carried sizes through 20 or 22 in a regular dept. (Marks & Spencer & Jaeger are 2 examples)
I believe there is a thread here on plus sizes if you do a search. Just can't remember whether it's for Paris, London or both. BTW, Harrods IMO is nothing special as far as fashion.

There is "plus size" and then the is PLUS size. It really depends on what sizes you are talking about.
If you mean American sizes 18 through 22 or maybe 24 you will find a relatively good selection. If you are talking about larger sizes - that is more of a problem.

Whilst it is not a crime (well not yet anyway) to be plus size, I fail to see why you should be proud of something that is a result of an unhealthy lifestyle usually coupled with a poor diet and overeating.
Surely every person would like to at least try to be thinner, say under a UK 14, obviously something more along the lines of 6-10 is much more desirable. The same applies to men, fat stomachs are vile too!
Let's try to promote some healthy eating - watch Graham Kerr's programmes. He used to serve the most high fat, rich dishes, not he's gone ultra healthy.

Thank you so much mkingdom2 for your helpful suggestions on how plus-sized people should concentrate on losing weight rather than buying clothes. Your sensitivity is underwhelming.
We plus-sized people need to buy clothes, too. Would you rather see us naked?

However, no haute couture pieces would ever look sensible in plus sizes, imagine a versace gown in an 18, let alone a 30!
Lots of weight loss can be achieved very very quickly and effectively by eating far less and far more traditionally healthy foods.
Then try the first floor at Harrods for all the fabulous designs.
