Do not go to Malaga (Rubbish collectors strike)
I´m really sorry to say it because I´m from Malaga, but the city is a chaos, rubbish all around the old town, the smell is disgusting...so horrible.

Very good of you to alert people to this situation, Alvamo. Did you see my post about the sewage treatment plant in Nerja only just beginning to be built when it was supposed to be in operation this summer ? Just awful !!

I'm glad it's over before Semana Santa.
Next spring I'll be taking a course, but I think I might return to Malaga for Semana Santa in 2018 if I'm in good enough physical shape.
I just loved the time I've spent there in the past.

Well, good news, the strike already finish and Malaga is expected to be back to normal by Wednesday, in plenty of time for the Holy Week processions.
