Discrimination
Hello Everybody,
I was planning on going to Italy in March. With the Sept 11 events I am worried if there is a lot of discrimination against foreign travelers in Italy (especially asians). Your honest answers and travelling tips are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

MY wife(asian) and myself just returned from a 21 day visit all over italy. It was remarkable and absolutely NO issues what so ever. Everyone is friendly and you feel secure as ever. It was also a pleasure not to be reminded about the events going on in the world. You will enjoy as we did and we visited all major cities. Rome,Venice,Florence etc. Also the security at the airports is fine and there they do some random checking on folks who look Questionable but I was ok with that.
Patrick, I think you are right in the fact that Asian is a very broad term. So a Japanese person would be looked differently then a traditional Middle Eastern Muslim. So my question was more towards Indians ; although resident of USA. Thank you for your response again
