Discounted tour to Turkey through Travelzoo, comments?

I am too old and timid to travel independently but like to do things on my own so can leave escorted tours daily to do my thing if need be, but like them to transport me and find my lodgings.
Am considering this tour featured on Travelzoo, sponsored by Virgin Vacations that is discounted almost 50%. I don't know anything about Turkey, usually my trips are whatever I find on sale as I hadn't traveled much at all before I retired 5 years ago. i want to go any and everywhere, so forgive my ignorance about the country, but the price is very good, I think.

if anyone cares to comment, I'd appreciate it. Also, if it's a good deal, I wanted to share the info in case anyone else would be interested in signing up.

Thank you!

Karen

I don't know anything about Virgin Vacations, but that is an excellent price and the places you would go are fabulous. In looking at the itinerary, you don't spend enough time in Istanbul (in my opinion) and you have to go to the usual carpet places for their sales pitch, but other than that, I like it.

It's possible that is the result of some very low air fares to Turkey recently (under $600).
