Dingle help?

Hi, traveling thru Dingle soon and Emlagh (lodge or house) was recommended. I realize they both exist but I'm confused over which is which. does anybody know the difference? location? price/ best to stay at? thanks hopefully, for clearing up my confusion.

The first is a B&B, the second is a small hotel. I have heard good things about both but have not stayed in either.

Emlagh House is classified a 4-star guesthouse. It is not a hotel. A guesthouse in Ireland is somewhere in-between a B&B and a hotel.

I will be staying at Emlaugh Lodge for a couple of nights in early May. Will post back with my opinion when I return.

We really enjoyed Emlagh Lodge B&B it is very cose to Emlagh House but it is an actual B&B. Clean comfortable rooms right on the bay and about 5 min walk into the town center-which is nice because you do not hear any noise. The price was very affordable for us.

Just got back from Ireland. Emlagh Lodge was our favorite B&B. Absolutely stunning location on the water with great views out the two windows (name of the room is 'Seaview'). Large room with a queen and a twin bed. Large bathroom with window. Short walk to town. 32.50 euros/pp. Highly recommended.
