Coastal Town to Relax In

This next spring my wife and I are walking the Camino de Santiago and we are looking for somewhere in Portugal to relax in when we are finished walking. Not looking for a big city, but something more rural on the Coast. Would appreciate suggestions on towns, areas and B&B accommodations.

We found Salema to be very quiet and relaxing and yet has several nice restaurants. Recommend http://www.the-mare.com/Page1.htm for a great stay.

If looking for a beach further north and closer to Santiago, a good option is Vila Praia de Âncora. However, the further north, the colder is the sea water.

Nazare is very beautiful (my ex-husband's family has a house there), but the water is freezing in Spring.

What about Sintra? Go to Cascais for a day trip?

Nazaré is nice, and still very typical.
Foz do Douro, the seaside of Porto, is nice too.
I'm afraid that both places will be pretty dead in the spring. In Foz you still have Porto for some liveliness.
