Center Parcs
We have been to two Centre Parcs in northern europe and would like a similar holiday in southern europe next summer.I realise Centre Parcs themselves go no further south than France.
Has anyone come across any similar style of holiday which is not overly active (ie not white water rafting etc) which might suit a family with two young teenagers?

That's exactly what Club Meds are in Southern Europe.
I believe they have a slightly singles reputation among Americans (a kind of gentrified Club 18-30). But they have lots of things like bike rides, saling lessons and water-skiing that are just right for youngish families, and many are awash with chlidren the same age as yours.
And they're not just for the wimps. On a holiday at their Kemer site in Turkey, our group got shipwrecked on a yacht in a force 10 gale. Which meant we missed the jeep safari where three 20-somethings broke all their limbs.
Some sites, like Opio near Nice, are a bit more aimed at the gentle 9 holes before lunch crowd and anyone from 10-30 might get resentful. But I've found the salespeople very good indeed at steering you away from places that wouldn't suit you. A lot better than the Kemer GOs were at steering that yacht.

You could consider
www.markwarner.co.uk
for all inclusive family holidays with plenty of activities for those who want them, and thought tremendous fun by everyone I know who has ever been on one.

I would also suggest Club Med or Mark Warner. They would not be the same as Center Parks though; Center Parks have self-catering houses. I cannot think of an equivalent. Club Med-type holidays will ensure plenty of activities for your teens if they want them.

Pierre & Vacances has holiday residences (bungalows/apartments) all over France, in Spain and in Italy. Animation for both children and adults (not the style where they come drag you from your sunbed like in some Club Med villages!), sports and relaxation, etc. Very good quality!
