Are there any wineries near the Amalfi Coast?

Spring isn't a great time for visiting wineries in this area, since most don't have quite the same impressive facilities you'd find where the long-term aging of reds is more common.

That said, the new season's white wines are usually launched in late March, so there's usually some interest!

Frascati is not near to the Amalfi Coast. And Lucca is not in Chianti.

The best known wines of the Amalfi Coast are from the Furore D.O.C. There are also a few wines produced in the areas of Ravello and Tramonti. All three of these are areas in the hills above the coast.

Marisa Cuomo is one very well respected name in the Furore D.O.C. region.

Campania has many many excellent wines, but the areas of production are a bit of a drive from the Amalfi Coast. For example, around Avellino.

Here is an agriturismo in Furore that also produces wine, and that offers meals to non-guests. They might offer you a tour of the vineyards if you inquire ahead of time. The food is reputedly very good.

I walked down from Ravello, perched high above Amalfi, once for a few miles thru terraced vineyards - lots of them - assume there may be some wineries there and not just grapes.

Although this thread is over 3 years old, I will mention the winery Vigne di Raito, in the hamlet of Raito near Vietri Sul Mare. They will arrange transportation from Salerno for you - it is a quick 10-minute ride.
