Ms_go - "telephone booth" lift at Passo Sella. Ha, I love this. I haven't found an answer on the opening dates but the street views of the lift are fun. Now, if the thing got stuck, I might find myself thinking about jumping from that little box but if I don't think about that, it's awesome!
Ade, sounds like this is a favourite area for you if you will have gone all that way 3 times as of this year. Betcha I am going to be thinking about going back too after just a 1 day primer. Love mountains but while nice, the Grampians, et al, aren't quite in the same league.
Leely, So civilised, just walking through the mountains and someone is there to hand you a strudel on a proper plate. (that savoury "snack" looks like my Germanic grandparent's idea of a light lunch)
