Boycott snide posts?

I've noticed that some people are really good at ignoring snide posts -- the next person just leaves a message, as if the ugly post had never existed.
With that in mind, I'm recommending a pan-Fodors voluntary policy: Ignore harsh posts. Just leave your message to the original question and move on. Maybe that will discourage some of the impolite posts who seem to just want to get a reaction out of everyone.

I don't think that was Rex starting this thread.

This advice is especially appropriate for that places to stat in Dordogne thread.

It sure is a good idea. As someone said, particularly after that obscenely nasty Dordogne thread. And the Dr. Abate thread, too. If I'd been either one of those people, I'd've been ready to sue.
Both of them have the class to either disappear or continue posting without rancour. That takes either guts or the asurance that they're on solid footing business-wise, or both.
If people who are being slammed left and right can hold back, why can't the rest of us? Blood pact? Maybe instead of a blue ribbon we can sport a bandage?

Has anyone ever tried the mixed sausage plate at the Hofbrauhaus in Munich? I highly reccommend it. The sausages aren't that large, but they are very tasty.
