Going to Biarritz in Feb. Anyone have a good hotel and a great restaurant there?

topping for Dunn.

Biarritz is a wonderful seaside resort like area in France, near Spain.

I am hoping myself to visit soon and did a little research.

Although pricey, I have my eyes on Hotel Du Palais.

Sorry, dunn, you received so far no help and just some wisecracks; I know that Biarritz will be wonderful.

Have you done any research online other than here?

Dunn-unfortunately, I don't know Biarritz, but I definitely want to get to it in the future, though. Did you check tripadvisor.com for hotels in the area? Try this link, as it gives the top-rated hotels there, and other links to restaurants and attractions in the area:

Here's a list of restaurants.
We stayed(and ate) at the Chateau Clair de Lune and in St Jean-de-Luz at Txapula.

I would suggest taking a look at the Pays Basque section of:

www.maribelsguides.com

I just returned from a trip to Bayonne and the information in her guides was amazingly helpful to me.

I'll second the Marible's Guides suggestion.

Dunn39:

We've stayed a few kms. south in a much smaller beach town with a fabulous stretch of beach featuring a lunar-like landscape of rock formations. Villa L' Arche is a superb little inn on the beach...with a car it's only minutes from Biarritz. Check it out.
