Auto Europe

I have been trying to access their website this morning to find the answer to my question, but it won't come up. I have a reservation with them in May for a one week rental in Italy that has already been charged to my credit card. My question is this, when do I receive my documents and find out what agency our car will come from?
Thanks,
Anna

I recently booked with Auto Europe for France. I received my travel voucher by e-mail from them within hours of providing my credit card info. In what form did you request your voucher?

Anna: I just pulled up their website with no difficulty.

If you are still having difficulty, why don't you call them? They have an 800 number (they are located in Maine). I assume you printed out your voucher when it was e-mailed to you, which has you voucher #, phone #, etc.

j

I would call them Anna. I received an e mail confirmation within hours of my request. And another one when I gave them the credit card information.

You won't get all your docs until you pick up the car..only an email confirmation. Just print it off and take it with you. I don't know if anyone else had this experience, but I found that everytime I called with a question about the rental itself, or the location etc.. they looked at my reservation and lowered the price...every time! I kept getting small credits to my account.

Thanks to all for your quick responses! I did receive an email confirmation from Auto Europe, but it does not have the agency I'll be renting from. I just called Auto Europe and they are sending me another confirmation.

The documents you receive from Auto Europe have the car rental agency listed(well, mine did), not the email confirmation. When they confirm, or even when quoting, they send an attachment which is the contract and has the car rental agency on it. I forget what format the attachment was, maybe PDF. In any case, that's what they did with me, I never got an email or quote without a contract. In fact, I wouldn't have agreed or given them by CC number without having reviewed the contract.

And you should keep all the paperwork in case there are any problems. I had the experience of the quote going up and it was because I had all our different e-mails that even though the rate had legitimately gone up they gave it to me at the original quote. Also I had some problems at Heathrow with Eurocar (I think that's what they are called) - the company Autoeurope had made my booking with - and because I had all my documentation when I called Autoeuropes 'hotline' number fr. England I was told that after I'd turned my car in they would straighten everything out. And they did. So don't throw away any paper until you get home and the charges go thru on your credit card.

I would just call them: 800-223-5555. I've dealt with them several times and have nothing but good things to say about them.
