Alhambra ticketing system changes

The Alhambra ticketing system seems to have changed recently. Hopefully I've got this right so please correct me if not! If you order tickets online, you no longer have to pick tickets up in Granada--you can print the pdf with the QR code at home or have it handy on your phone. (Exception is if you are using a discounted ticket, like for seniors.) Reading the general info on my ticket, I see that it grants access between 8:30 am and 8:00pm. This is a change, correct? Everything I’ve read previously stated that if you purchased a morning ticket, you had to access the different areas before 2 pm. I know we have to be at Nasrid Palace at the time we reserved in the morning, but other than that, we are free to access the Alcazaba and Generalife all day, rather than having to do it before 2 pm. This is great, since we can go get lunch and relax after visiting Nasrid without worrying about getting in to the other areas before 2 pm.

Unfortunately, I messed up and did not try to buy my tickets until 8 weeks in advance and they were all sold out (must book 12 weeks in advance). Luckily there is an option to buy the Basic, 3 day Granada Card which allowed me to reserve a time slot for Nasrid Palace. However, the Granada Card does not offer the option of visiting at night, and those are also all sold out the entire month of April. Is it worth it to keep trying to see if any spots open up for night time?
