A place in the sun? Late March/Early April
I live in East Anglia in the UK and am contemplating taking a last minute holiday at the end of the month or early April. I'd love to go somewhere I can sit by a pool/beach and relax in the sun - is there anywhere within three hours from London that could provide that this time of year? I'm happy to do flight changes, but just trying to avoid spending many hours in transit so would like to stay somewhat in Europe. Any recommendations would be incredibly welcome and appreciated!

Crete is 4 hours from the UK - and you'll need a sheltered spot in March / April otherwise the wind will make it feel chilly.
For the same flight time and better weather you could go to the Canary Islands or Maderia

Make sure you check the 10 day weather forcast before you decide on your destination. Seville, no beach, but many hotels with a pool. Weather could be in the mid 70's or warmer. You could also sightsee if you so desired. Under three hours from London, non-stop. Richard www.kayak.com
