I hd hope you were off traveling in body; glad to hear that you were at least freewheeling in spirit.

Get better soon.

Best wishes,

It is my pleasure to post the note for Mr Haines, I knew his absence from the Forum must have been greatly missed.

Although having never met Mr Haines, but as many others, being inspired by his generosity of sharing info, his kindness, patience and never failing courtesy,I have tried to become a more informed and open-minded traveler.

Dear Mr Haines, wish you and all of us many a happy sleeping car from Kesztheley to Plovdiv in the near future.

I'm really sorry to hear that Mr Haines is not well. I wish him a speedy recovery.

On the other topic of not being able to log in.

Things happen sometimes.

Why doesn't he try to set up a new user name with a slightly altered handle.

For example. Instead of Mr Ben Haines how about Sir Ben Haines. Etc

I too was becoming concerned about Sir Ben's absence here. What can we do to help solve the software problem? I have certainly had my share of software problems here.

Mr. Haines, Sir Ben, wishing you a complete & speedy recovery.

Hope you have a full and speedy recovery Ben. Wondered where all your kind words and wonderful information had gone to. You made my first trip to London (and the first ever to Europe) much more special. Best wishes and welcome back

Gentleman indeed. I have had the fortune to communicate by e-mail with Ben on a few occasions, and he is always thoughtful. Good luck with the health issues and come back soon.
