Fathiya or Marmaris? first time in Turkey!

Fathiya or Marmaris? first time in Turkey!
Hi there,
It will be the first time for us to be in Turkey, we are 2 guys, 30yr and 24yr visiting Istanbul on the 21st of July for 5 days then Bodrum for 5 days and Marmaris or Fathiya for 4 days.
I know if we want to go to Fathiya it's better to do it after Istanbul but I want an advice wither we should go to Fathiya or Marmaris??
We live in a busy city which is Dubai in UAE and we wanna escape for some fun and relaxation also site seeing..
I need an advice where to stay (hostels) where to go and what to see.
We like to do everything from clubs to restaurants to shopping, maybe meeting nice friendly people that can hang out with us and have a great time..
I appreciate if you can help with some advices.
