5 hours in Valencia, what to see?

Hi,
We will be in Valencia for 5 hours only, what's the best way to spend these five hours? we love people watching, food, NOT TOURISTY areas, farmers market and any place beautiful that we can mingle with local people.
Thanks

A couple of years ago we only had 4 hrs in Valencia ( a very short stop during a cruise). We took the ship's shuttle which left us at the edge of the old town. We walked around, went to the Cathedral and sat in a Plaza near it to have some coffee. The rest of the time we spent it in their gorgeous covered Mercado Central.

Walk around back side of the Cathedral, to its right, to see the Arch Bishop's Palace.

Have a chocolate con churros at Santa Catalina or Chocolate Valor, both on the "front" side of the cathedral area.

Wander down the side street where Santa Catalina is until you reach the above mentioned central market area ( it will be to your left eventually).

Mercado Central. Freshly squeezed orange juice at stands outside market on its facade.

Stop to see La Lonja, Silk exchange world heritage building across the street

With a map, walk a few blocks to take a photo of the facade of the Ceramic Museum (Marques de Dos Aguas palatial home)

Walk through the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, admiring the Post Office and City Hall.

Make your way up to the train station to admire the art deco tiles in lobby and hall at and next to customer service.

Grab a taxi back to your port or pick up area. Know the dock number as the taxi most likely will not know exactly which part of the port you are in as different ships disembark at different areas.

ha ha ha!!!

Aduchamp, I am always thrilled to see someone is at least STOPPING here! Double kudos when it is outside the Fallas festivities.

But i forgot to add, have your taxi stop for a 10 minute photo op at the new science center (ciudad de artes y ciencias) on your way back to the port.

If you google my suggested stops you can pre-decide where you do want to venture to. Downtown things are quite walkable..
