Oceania beverage package
We're planning a cruise on the Marina, and I've looked at the beverage package options. It looks as though you can't buy wine by the glass at meals. Is this correct? If wrong, what are the average prices per glass. I understand that wine is not free, right? Any experience with either beverage package? Thanks

We recently cruised on the newer ship, Riviera. I think wine by the glass was available but the wines are expensive so we found the best value was to order a bottle. They will serve half the bottle and label it with your room number and serve it the next night-at any of the restaurants. You will run up a liquor/wine tab on the ship-impossible to avoid.

You certainly can buy glasses of wine on Oceania at lunch or dinner - average $10 a glass. I am not a fan of beverage packages - we don't drink enough for most of them. We do as mentioned above, buy a bottle of red and a bottle of white and drink a glass or 2 at a meal, have the rest put away for another meal. Works very well. Your wine is available no matter where you are eating. You will love O.
