My Cruise
I recently went on my first cruise and I was wondering if anyone had a similiar experience. The first day was great- I went swimming and played frisbee and ate so much cake I threw it up.

The second day is when things started becoming a little strange. After having a large breakfast of pancakes and eggs, toast and vodka I threw it up and went to take a dip in the pool. When I got to the pool one of the crew members asked me to come with him. He wanted to know if it was me that threw up all over the deck! I told him that was none of his damn business. He then pushed me down and I realized it was my puke. After that we all had a good laugh and enjoyed the rest of the cruise. Except my wife slipped on something and hurt herself. hahahah. Ahhh, memories.

I had a similar experience when my lady and I went on a cruise in the early 80s. It wasn't a pleasure cruise per se but one of escape. We were boat people trying to escape from the damn commies of north vietnam. Our ship was about 40 feet long and held 2oo people. Needless to say accomadations were not great. There was no pool, no 24 hr buffett and no live jazz band. We had to entertain ourselves by eating dried squid and throwing each other overboard to see who swam in the fastest. Our captain was a drunk name Vinh who took all of our money before letting us on board. My wife ended up with the runs all through the trip after drinking some urine-tainted water. Other than that the trip was pretty cool.

On my first cruise I saw a man collapse on the second night of the trip while slowdancing. I saw them trying to revive him on the dance floor and fail. I saw the cruise staff and the man's family trying to calm down his wife. The whole family took this trip to celebrate the couple's 40th wedding anniversary. When we arrived in Hamilton, Bermuda from the lounge window I saw them take out the body bag and load it into a car. My boyfriend used to work for a cruiseline and said on board people died or got deathly sick quite often. So throwing up isn't all that bad considering the other possibilities.
