are you able to use an iron or steamer on board?

Yes-have always taken a steamer on a cruise and had no problem plugging it in the room outlets or sink area.

Physically you can but it is against the regulations of the cruise line. I sailed on the Millennium and the info books in each cabin say that irons are not allowed. Millennium doesn't provide any self-service laundry facility - so you must send them off to their laundry to have them "ironed."<BR><BR>Theresa

I always bring a travel iron on my cruises with me even though they say not to use an iron in the room. If I thought it was because it was dangerous, I would not use it but I believe they want you to use their services.

Actually - they are worried about a fire on the ship! <BR> <BR>Please do not use them!

You can use a steamer although irons are not allowed.
