Infinity or Galaxy

Is there a big difference. I have good quotes for both - for veranda cabins. $150 more for Infinity pp. Any opinions.

Thanks

Liz, My wife and I are booked on the Infinity next Sat(17th) Yahoo! and my advice is there shouldn't be much of a difference, both will be decadent. Use the money on excursions if you prefer or if one has a better sailing date. You are on the cruise for the ports, relaxations, sights, etc. The room is just that, a room. Those are my views anyway. Good luck!

Hi there, I have sailed on the Infinity and Century. Infinity and Millinuim are sister ship and are of a new design. Century and Galaxy are the older design. both were beautiful, but you might enjoy the new ship. I thought it was amazing. Usally new ships (this one has only been out since Feb 01) are way more expensive. To Chad, you should have a wonderful time.

The Infinity is newer, but the Galaxy is a wonderful ship. It's more subdued than some of the new ships. We loved out time on her.

Well, we decided to spend the extra money - but not on infinity - got a fantastic rate for a suite on the Galaxy 2/22. Anyone else going?

GOOD choice! The Infinity would probably be quite nice indeed, but the Galaxy, a Century Class ship has a much better design. For example, the veranda cabins on the sides of the Millennium class ships, and that's Infinity, overlook not the ocean but lifeboats! The service is not quite as good in the dining room in the Millennium class ships either due to the great distances the waiters have to travel. There's more but you made the right choice as far as I am concerned. Having said that, I am sure you'd have a nice time on the Infinity... we've been on the Millennium twice and it was great but not as outstanding as the other Celebrity ships or experiences we've had.
