Cruisequick.com -- not so quick??

I sent an email to cruisequick yesterday (over 24 hours ago) and haven't received a reply. Is this normal? What has been your past experience.

I should have been more clear; I emailed them for a price quote for a particular cruise.

I would email them again.

I have used them for quotes before (never booked) and they always responded within an hour.

I have heard a lot of discussion concerning them but no one has complained about their lack of response. They are well known for quickly responding.

This sounds most unusual to me as well. They've always been very prompt when I've used them!! Send another request incase there was some glitch.

That does sound unusual. They've responded to my requests promptly.

Ditto everyone else's comments. I would send another quote request. It sounds like they may not have received the first one as they normally respond very quickly.

I've asked for several quotes from them in the past few days and have gotten responses within 15-30 minutes.

I am getting ready to book on line and just asked the board for help. Is this website supposed to be the cheapest?

Janelle - no one website is going to be the cheapest always.

As long as you know and can accept how CruiseQuick works, then you are OK. I personally haven't used them because if something goes wrong, I want to be able to talk to someone. With CruiseQuick - you can only correspond with them via email.

Day 2 without a response. I guess I'll go email them again. Thanks everyone!

They've always been so quick for quotes and also whenever I've had questions prior to departing. It is almost like talking to a live person. Personally, I like having everything in writing (emails) so there is never any confusion. Also, they seem to work 24/7....I like that!

I don't know, folks. I feel like I've been blacklisted. Sent a second email and got no response. Can anyone recommend any other sites to try?

Yes, try 'cruisevacationcenter.com' and 'icruise.com'.
I'm surprised too about cq. I've gotten several quotes from them with no problem. However, they are not always the cheapest. Would be nice to get their price though.
Good luck!

Rainbowfish have you checked your spam filter? Perhaps you could try opnening a free email account through yahoo, excite, or hotmail. I have read that other folks did have problens with cruisequick's replies going directly to ther spam accounts. You can also try bestpricecruises.com

I don't know that they actually do this, but under their terms of service they say that they will respond to a only a limited number of requests in a given time unless you have previously booked a cruise through them. I presume this is to discourage lookylous from deluging them with requests with no bookings. Is it possible you've exceeded your limit?
