Hi Marie,

Quite a few years ago I sailed the ship when it belonged Cunard and was called the Royal Viking Sun. Since that time it was transferred to Seabourn and was called the Sun. It was elegant.

Built in 1988 it was refurbished in 1999 and will be refurbished again before you sail.

The ship is 38,000 tons and only carries about 760 passengers. The public areas are massive. The space ratio per person is 50 sq. ft. Just about the largest at sea.

With a crew of over 400 you should be doted upon.

When it was the Sun, Berlitz deemed the ship the finest in the mid-size category for nine years.

It is truly a floating resort.

Enjoy,

Paul
