Hi Linda,

Norwegian completely destroyed this ship (they are also doing a nice job with their other ships also). I know first hand. I was on the ship in Bermuda. Quite a disaster.

Orient has done a multi-million dollar renovation.

I have not sold a customer as yet. I am waiting to hear from others.

Paul

Hi! We just returned from a Med. Cruise on the Orient line ship, Crown Odyssey. We were impressed! We are experienced cruisers and loved every minute of it. The service, cleanliness of the ship and the food were outstanding. I have cruised many lines, Holland American, Princess, etc. and think Orient has them beat!!!!!! I would be glad to correspond with anyone regarding this cruise. Tday

Tday, Thanks for the update! We are booked on the Crown's Red Sea & Africa cruise Oct 28 and have been hoping someone would give a review of the ship. How were the cabins?
Personally, I am tired of hearing about what it was under Norwegian, now maybe we can put that to bed.
Thanks.
I have been on the Crown, inside cabin deck 5. It had 3 closets and 3 areas with drawers. The bath had a large vanity and extra shelves plus a Huge shower. I'm a large person and I had plenty of room while showering. I have cruised on RCCL, Rhapsody, Grandeur, and Vision those bathrooms are tiny by comparison and so is the storage space. Enjoy the Crown.

Have just returned from the Med and Aegean II cruise which left Barcelona on 20 August, finished Istanbul 2 September. Where should I start?? This was part of a 3-1/2 month round the world holiday for us and it was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of a trip which included many highlights. We also did an Alaskan cruise on RCCL Rhapsody which was great but not like the Med. This cruise line and destination comes with our highest recommendation. The cabins (we had 4060) were huge with lots of storage space. A full bath in the bathroom was also a bonus. Do watch out for the twin beds which do not convert though. Highly recommended.

I would like to try the Crown Odyssey again now that its under another owner. Been on it when it was RCL and under NCL as some one does not want us to bash NCL - the only comment I can say is go for a room with bay windows - you wont regret it. The bay windows will make your view more enchanting. I leave the blinds open every opportunity I could even at night!
