Cabin Amenities
We are about to enbark on our first RCCL cruise aboard the Grandeur of the Seas, in a Category C cabin. Past couple of cruises have been with Celebrity. Are robes provided in the cabin for use during the cruise? Also, when ordering room service are you limited to a specific menu or can you order anything that is being offered in the main dining room at that time? TIA.
Hi Debi,

You have been spoiled. You will sailing on a mass-market cruise line. Only in the suites are robes available and they do not change them every day. And they take them away on the last sea day (probably due to the fact that many people took them home).

The room service menu is just limited fare. Do not plan on eating very often in your cabin. The food is nothing to write home about.

I believe you will still have a good time and save money to boot.

Paul

RCCL does not have tea-time.

Grandeur "C" cabins are not suites but they are fairly good sized. At least compared to the size of the other categories.

The only ships that have "C" suites are the Voyager, Explorer, Rhapsody and Vision.

Paul

Thank You Debi, I know that category 'C' on RCI is a suite category because I just came off an RCI cruise in a 'B' but had originally booked a 'C' (Suite).
I knew that Paul T posted the wrong responce, or at least put it this way, did not include all of the RCI ships with 'C' suites, but since he usually does that, it just wasn't worth argueing with him.
Toto

Paul-My information is not 'gotten', it is lived. We just got off the Legend of the Seas and the "C" category is a suite because we booked it. We ended up getting an upgrade to a "B" but as I said previously, on these ships the "C" category IS a suite. Better get some new brochures because it is listed right there in them.
Toto
