Why not get yourself a REAL travel agent.

They are most helpful and will spend quite a bit of time with you. They could also help you with port info.

They could also save you quite a bit of money on insurance.

If you do go on the internet to save a FEW dollars......GOOD LUCK!

Paul

I found a great TA online who offers me all the same service as my local TA at a fraction of the price. As a matter of fact, she saved me more than a "few" dollars....she saved me over $1,000 on my next cruise. I had booked with a local TA and later when I checked the price online, I found that I could book for $1000 less (for 2)! When I called my local TA, she couldn't come any closer than $500 savings, so I switched my booking. Not only did I save LOTS of money, but I actually got the same cabin! I know who I will be calling first in the future!

For the record though, this wasn't through onsale.com

This message is for Hilary: Thank you for your reply. Do you think that your new online TA would be willing to take on new clients? I read your reply to Judith about booking online and it seems that you really like doing things this way. If you think that it would be okay could you post or e-mail to me your TA so we can work with her too? Thanks.

My TA is Bonnie at cruise.com Her phone number is 1-888-333-3116 x227

Like I posted before, she got me a great deal and was very helpful on the phone, but I'm the type of person who likes to do my own research, so I didn't need much help from her.

It is still smart to shop around, but if you do talk with her, please tell her I referred you.
