Well, I guess Aristotle didn't try too hard
here is a link to the page that has a sticky giving you all of the prices for every beverage to help with the decision on drink package

We were on a Celebrity cruise in July/August. (I posted a similar question here.)
We considered a soda package for our kids. Did not do it, which was the right decision.
We also thought about the cocktail/wine package.
I believe mixed drinkss ran about $10 to$12.
WE decided against it when we figured that on 7 of the 12 days we were on shore. When we factored in the number of drinks to have it break-even, it didn't make sense for us.

I have taken sodas on board for my husband and myself and had no problem. Two times, I even packed a small pull suitcase filled with sodas and pulled them on board with me.I'm sure they didn't care for that but it saved me a bundle of money. I did this on a Norwegian and also a Celebrtiy cruise ship.
