Where to stay in Bermuda with mobility problems?

I am thinking of visiting Bermuda to celebrate my 75th birthday in early December 2026. It has been on my bucket list for many years but I’ve never made it apart from an emergency stop at the airport. My husband has slight respiratory problems so we need to avoid a hotel with lots of steps or in a hilly location. We are not bothered about being on the beach but do want a pool in case the weather is mild enough to sit in the sun. Although we may hire a car, ideally we would like a small hotel that’s a short walk to a few bars, restaurants and shops. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Just in case you didn't realize it, you can search booking.com for hotels with elevator access or ground floor rooms, for pools, and -- along with google.maps, for places that aren't on hills. The booking.com listings will note nearby restaurants, etc., but sometimes that info is out of date, so again, check google.maps.

I hope that helps and best wishes!
