Where to rent in St. John? and other questions

5 'girlfriends' turning 60 going to STT in January. We are down to two different rental options:
One is in Bologno Bay at a place called Sea Cliff Villa and the other appears to be around Suzzanah Blvd next to a Margaritaville Resort. Concerns are accessibility to 'fun' and food. I am inclined to peace and quiet. Any thoughts to add to assessing these? We are contemplating going to Virgin Gorda one day.

Have you used the safari busses? We are a little leary about renting and driving on the left, though we know taxis charge per person. The bus stops right by the Suzzanah Blvd property.

Favorite good but not super expensive dinner restaurants?

Thanks!

Clarification. The Bologna one seems to be on Coculos (sp?) point.

Just to be clear: despite the title of this thread, you are not interested in staying on St. John at all and want help deciding between the Bolongo Bay area and the Margaritaville area on st. Thomas.

Whoa, ibz! I am having a heck of a time with this one!
1. Sea Cliff Villa is a condominium at BOLONGO Bay on the south side of ST THOMAS. It is not on the safari route, but there are three restaurants within walking distance- Lobster Grille, Mim's and Iggie's.
2. I have no idea about this one. There are no boulevards on St Thomas. Margaritaville is on the north side of the island, among several condo properties. Yes, the safari route runs by Margaritaville, but it doesn't run at night and you would need to take those per person taxis. There are many restaurants and bars at several price points in Red Hook, which is fairly close to Margaritaville (still a taxi ride away).

There are lots more places to stay than these two,so I'm not sure how you came to these.

I gather you want to go to the Baths, and there are many day trips you can take.
