How's the buccaneer in St. Croix for a family vacation?
My husband and I and two sons ages 9 and 13 are thinking of taking a trip this fall to the Buccaneer in St. Croix if we can find a good deal. Is the beach at the resort nice? We stayed at the Westin in St. John last year (loved it and will go back to St. John in the future) but would like to try a different island and have a nice beach at the resort. Any input on this resort?

We had a family vacation on St. Croix several years ago and really loved it. We stayed at the Divi but played golf and ate at the Buc. It is really beautiful and I would probably stay there if we return. If you play golf, St. Croix has several beautiful courses which are very reasonably priced. There is much to see and do on St. Croix. It is more laid back than St. John or St. Thomas.
