Tryall information

Hi All, I posted a similar question under Jamaica Weddings, but I will repost here. We are traveling to Tryall in summer 2003. We are traveling with 2 children 14 & 12. I'd like to know anything regarding the facilities (pool, watersport and especially the beach). Also, we are interested in going over to Round Hill for water-skiing, catamaran snorkel cruise (or can we do this from Tryall). I heard they have some kind of arrangement with Round Hill. Is this true? If so what is the arrangement. I am sure there is a charge for water-skiing, etc., but do we need to purchase some kind of day pass to get on to the property? We would also like to have dinner there one night. I've heard they have shuttle service between Tryall and Round Hill. Is this true? If so, is it complimentary or is there a charge (how much)? I am just full of questions, I would greatly appreciate any and all information. Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest you email the Club directly to get answers to many of these detailed questions. Tryall and Round Hill are only 5 mins apart now thanks to the recently completed new road. For beach use at RH I'm not sure what the arrangement is but you can certainly dine there with no hassle. The reef at Tryall makes bringing boats in problematic so I'm not sure that Catamaran can pick you up from the pier/breakwater. Do you know where you're staying at Tryall. Many villas have their own pools and there's a large pool at the Great House. Club beach is very nice. I assume you've researched www.tryallclub.com. I'd also refer you to www.randolins.com a site with additional photos of the club facilities. enjoy

cariblover, thank you for your help. I called Tryall regarding Round Hill, they think I need to purchase day passes. I'll call Round Hill today to find out specifics, Tryall says it's about $50US pp to get on RH Beach Club grounds plus taxi and price of activity, which sounds quite steep for 20 min. of water-skiing. For the 4 of us (only one skiing)would be somewhere over $300, doesn't seem right. Maybe RH will have more answers for me. Again, thanks for your reply : ).

I think you can arrange to be picked up for waterskiing at Tryall or if you need to use RH they should cut you some slack if you're there just to board a ski-boat. Something can certainly be worked out.
