Resort rent out for wedding

Looking for a small boutique, luxury resort that can be completely rented out for an intimate wedding. No more than 60-80ppl total (could even trim that down).

Needs to be fairly accessible by major airlines (Southwest preferably), with short travel distance from the airport (under 2 hrs.)

Would like an "all inclusive" meal/drink option, onsite wedding and reception locations, onsite or close spa and golfing, etc. All the things that would make for a good three/four day wedding trip for close family and friends.

2 things to keep in mind:

Southwest doesn't fly many Caribbean destinations

Most marriage licenses in Caribbean have a mandatory amount of time you have to stay before getting married

What kind of budget are you thinking?

I would like to keep it around $20k-$30k. Guests will be paying for their own lodging.

Sorry. Forgot what month of the year? Makes a difference

If budget just your portion with wedding? And the 4 months?

That's not very much for a wedding, even in the States, and Caribbean usually costs more (even a simple wedding on the beach)

Some resorts have small wedding packages, is usually for about that price for maybe 10 people

If the budget u Claude's reception, rehearsal dinner, etcetera, you're probably out of luck

Except you might try Mexico and DR, known for AI might keep budget in place

I really need to proofread, sorry, so many typos.

For 10 persons usually maybe $10,000 or more

If you want rehearsal dinner, wedding, food after dinner, pictures, etc

For example, my sister had 40ish guests

Wedding rehearsal was apps, and person playing guitar, roughly $4000

Wedding itself (simple, just flowers in sand, no chairs) $1500

Reception, dinner was roughly $20,000 with drinks. Band was $4000. Pictures were $3000 (for about 20 pictures plus cd)

Wedding planner was $2000. (hey you've never been there, you need to plan)

So roughly $40,000 not including accommodations

So for 60-80 you might want to double your budget (if not triple)

However, look into Dominican republic or Mexico, they cater to AIs (boutique hotels will cost tons more). Many have and offer wedding packages.

Keep in mind you'll have to be there sooner, usually 3-7 days before wedding) for wedding to be legal.

If a wedding in the States costs $20,000, you can expect at least double in Caribbean.

And if Catholic, keep in mind priests can't marry you on the beach
