quick picks for a short trip
My hubbie and i are flying to san juan-St. Kitts from California for a quick 4-5 day trip in early May. I think we will be staying on Nevis, although it might be a place on st. kitt's. Not sure, yet.
Anyone in this fine funky community have any advice regarding good eatsndrinks, cultural (like petroglyphs.. archaeological) sites, beach or nature must see..etc.?
I'd love to hear. Thanks!

You will love St. Kitts & Nevis. Both are beautiful, unspoilt island. Lots of history, secluded beaches, fun beach bars, friendly and helpful locals and so much more!
A website you might find helpful is www.discover-stkitts-nevis-beaches.com
or www.myislands.myeyez.net
Good eats n drinks for St. Kitts:
Sprat Net
Ballahoo
Mr. X's Shiggidy Shack
Turtle Beach Bar & Grill
Nevis:
Coconut Grove
Miss June's
Sunshine's Beach Bar
Montpelier
Le Cafe des Arts
Cultural - Brimstone Hill Fortress, Carib Petroglyphs, Nevis Botanical Gardens
Beaches - Cockleshell, South Friars, Turtle Beach, Frigate Bay
Rainforest and volcano tours, catamaran excursions, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking and much more.
St. Kitts & Nevis is the caribbean's best kept secret!
See it before it becomes too commercialized.

liz, thanks for the all the info!
viginia..yep, sigh. includes the travel. I know, it barely seems worth it, but my husband has a gig on nevis, and since all accomodations and so forth will be taken care of, well it seems a darn shame not to tag along. Finding someone here at home to take care of our 2 year old while we cavort a bit is a harder nut to crack, actually! I keep thinking i should not go, just in case tha plane goes down in the Bermuda triangle, get hijacked in san juan or some other crazy paranoid thoughts!
