Lovely report, mymossie! Makes me want to go to Nevis.

Is there a better beach for waves? Qualie looked a little to calm for me?

Peace, Greenie

Ahhh, Nevis. Another excellent trip report that made me feel like I was back on the island again. Reading your comments and seeing your photos have given me the Nevis Itch, now. If only I could get back there sooner than next year!

BTW, greenie, you'd probably like the beach at Nisbet. Lots of rolling waves at that location!

Thanks for that recap! We're headed to St. Kitts and Nevis in November. Staying at Oualie on Nevis - thanks for all the photos and details!

greenie - Go to Windward Beach (on the southeastern side of the island near the race track) for the best "wave action" on the island. Do be careful as certain times of the year the currents and waves can be quite strong.

Why have I never gotten stuck in paradise?! Thank you for another fabulous trip report. Love the sunset at Oualie and Coconut Grove pics.

So where to next?

And what's up with the slacking off on Grenada trip #2?!

Thanks for posting! It's comforting to know that Nevis can be done on a budget. Great pictures and well written.

I always look foward to your trip reports! I <heart> them!

It seems every time i've flown American Eagle, i've had a story like yours or crazier.

As always-thanks for sharing! 8-)

I know that it is not nice to be jealous, but....
I'll have to finish reading your excellent report at WORK.
Just renewed the passport and may have to set up a 4 time return trip. I LOVE NEVIS!!!!!!! I LOVE OUALIE BEACH, esp. Jason who is gone and Vaden, oh and Moi and Trevor. That Stacy is a hoot.

Thanks for the great report. You've helped confirm Nevis' spot on my short list of "must do" destinations.

Thanks everyone!

Killer bee rum punch is passion fruit based, with LOTS of rum. There's a secret ingredient that no one seems to have cracked yet.

re: Grenada TR#2... (hangs head in shame) ... I will get it done. I will get it done. Maybe if I say that enough times it will magically get done. LOL.

My favorite place is Grenada. Not for the beaches, but because it feels like "home" and we feel like we've made some good connections with the locals and ex-pat community.

Ok, off to work now so I can make more money so I can travel again.

Great trip report. Since Nevis is so easy to get to from ST Croix it is on my list. Since you flew out of IAD just curious where you live in the DC area. We lived in Fairfax for 28 years and son lives in Reston.

HowardC,
I was just reading your Anguilla report on TA last night. It's on our candidate list for our next trip. I'm interested in Turtle's Nest and was wondering if you had any photos?

Fairfax! I live in the Fair Lakes area... down the street from Fair Oaks mall. When you visit we'll have to do a meet-up.

blamona - I'm crashing your get together.
